BRISCOE OPENS TOYOTA SERVICE CENTRES IN VICTORIA ISLAND

DETERMINED DETERMINED to maintain its lead in the marketing and servicing of Toyota brand in Nigeria, Briscoe Motors, a division of R. T. Briscoe Nigeria PIc has opened Toyota Service Centre with showroom in Victoria Island, Lagos.

The service centre, lo'cated at the ever-busy Sanusi Fafunwa street, Victoria Island Lagos is equipped with state of-the art diagnostic machines and lifts for fast delivery of jobs.
But the centre operates on 100 percent appointment as it has been structured in such a way that customer should not be kept waiting endlessly at the centre. So he has to call to book for his service before coming..
Speaking to the members of the motoring press at the service centre on Wednesday, Mr. Seyi Onajide, executive director, Briscoe Motors said that the service centre was set up to satisfy their numerous customers on Victoria Island by making it convenient for them to service their vehicles without stress.

According to him, Toyota users on the Island can now take advantage of the service centre which has been brought to their door steps. They can call to book for the servicing of their cars without having to go their main office in Ladipo.

Further, would handle only minor repairs and servicing of cars while major repairs would be taken to their Matori, Ladipo workshop.
According to him, the whole essence of the Victoria Island Service Centre was to make the job easy for their customers who would simply drop their cars for service or repairs at the centre and collect them as soon as they are ready.
The centre also would service as a collection centre for major repairs at the main service centre while ordinary service would be handled at the Victoria Island office.
He, however, noted that their customers were happy with the new service centre going by the feedback received in the last few days concerning the workshop.

"Our customers are very happy going by the feedback so far received. Being one of the eight appointed Toyota dealers in the country, we would like to maintain our number one position in the industry as we believe we should always add value," he stated. The executive director, however hinted that no dealer in the country invested as much as Briscoe Motors in terms of after sales adding that they would continue to set the pace.
He added that as the customers taste continued to change, so shall they strive to meet their demands.
To this end, he informed that his company carried out a reform in all its workshops aimed at revolutionising their services and promised that they were going to change the processes of their workshop to ensure customers satisfaction.
"We are just staring. customer' convenience is what we are re looking at and there is no stopping us," he said.

The Victoria Island workshop would have been in place long before now but for the difficulties in finding a suitable space for it. The workshop gulped. between N70 to N80 million according to the executive director.
It was built to Toyota's international standard with all facilities in place. To make the job faster, Mr. Onajide disclosed that an electronic part catalogue had been installed to provide details of available spare parts and their prices online with the head office.
"We are happy that we have been able to get closer to our customers. As small as it is, the service centre has everything you can think of. In fact it is an extension of our Matori Office," the executive director conclude.
